The first thing what surprised me is that the prologue completely changed then what I remembered. It kinda gives more of a backstory of Red and his newly added partner Pikachu. ALso worth mentioning is that it's neet to add a Opening just like in other Visual Novels.
What I also find nice is how he even got to the school and the reason. Kinda gives a more background and motivation for the character itself. As an prologue it's kinda long, which is fine to be honest, since many Visual Novel tend to do this. But what makes it different is unlike many Visual Novels the pacing is good and doesn't feel to rushed. It offers time for the reader to introduced thous characters, how they react and what they actually do.
Another thing that should be noted is that the background and the sprites have been improved from the last time. The difference is not really big but it is definitely worth mentioning.
Now to the part that I didn't really enjoyed. Just like in the last demo I hate Blues attitude. I can understand that he is kinda the antagonist of this Novel, but still it shouldn't go so far that I had to drink a glass of Johnny Walker while reading it. Because there were just moments that it made no sense and also gave me headache (some of them were so frustrating that I skipped them through in my first playthrough, but no worries I have read them later again. ). Hopefully in future updates its gonna be revealed what made him such a person and why he has such attitude towards Red.
Else as a fan project I had alot of fun reading this novel, just as much fun I had reading VNs like Koychoco just in a different way.
