I have a OnePlus 3 with 6Gb of ram and 30+ GB of free storage, the game has been running fine, then the game updated and it hasn't worked since. I have tried all the ways mentioned on the supercell website as well as various forums around the internet.
My phone is rooted but I have nothing for modding or cheating in games, I have also got the root hidden to the app so it shouldn't notice the root.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, uninstalling Facebook, restarting the phone, clearing cache as well as factory reset.
