A jab on my right side takes me back from the dream realm. "Just five more minutes, mom.." I open my eyes and look to my right, an old ugly rough-looking man is looking straight at me. "Hell!" I jump on my seat. I was expecting my mom, but I must say, he isn't that far off. The apparent driver warns me that we've arrived, and that I'm the only one left in the bus. I rush out before he can do anything to me, you never know with these people. The sight that awaits me outside is a much prettier one for sure. "Is this really Kobukan? It's bigger than anything in Virbank, I wish I could film it." I get out of my awed state and pull my sleeve up, where my badly written ink-on-skin note rests. "Relic Hall."
After a small adventure of asking questions and getting directions, I finally manage to register for a random roommate, my two electives dark and grass, and last but not least, clubs. The Service Club sounds like the perfect place to find nice people, and the Theater Club... I fear I might spend more of my time in there than in homeroom classes. I stop by my assigned room to drop off what little luggage I have, mainly a pokéball that has been shaking nonstop ever since a certain pokémon decided to make it it's home. I throw it onto bed, and my small companion comes out. "What's up Scraggy." He seems annoyed. "Looks like we're gonna have a hell of a good time in here huh."

"Hehe" I laugh a bit nervously "Well, if I'm to be completely honest as to why I picked Dark and Electric, it's because the classes are listed in alphabetical order on the sign ups. I figured just picking the first two classes would seem obvious, so I skipped over the second and picked the first and third."

"I have Puff! I'm not super good with Pokemon names though. She's Puff, because she looks like a puff, ya'know?" I don't really know how to explain it, she definitely looks like a puff though. "What's that?" I ask. "Piggie back? Issat another Pokemon?" I try and imagine what it might look like.

"You..." I am dumbfounded. It never occurred to me that someone would just pick alphabetically, but skip the second. It's...just.... "Pfft..." I immediately cover my mouth to stifle the laugh. "Goodness me, you must really be carefree, huh?" I ask after mostly regaining my composure.

Turns out it was just an assistant finishing the preparations. After he greets me and excuse himself for taking so much time in preparing the room. As he left I restrained myself for not crying in the honor of such dedication towards the students.

My stomach growled. Sure, Honedge is making me feel hungry quickly, but to think that it was that fast since the bus... I understand now why you refuse to evolve until we get your dusk stone.

Since I kept food in my bag, might as well eat it somewhere outside. If I recall, there's a park outside, so I guess I should eat there in peace. As I step outside, I bump my head on the door. I forgot it was too small....
Whatever. It's okay. I need to eat. that's all that matter.

Man, this girl really doesn’t know her stuff, but I can’t blame her considering she’s an orphan. “It’s when someone carries another person on their back” I explain. “And Puff, can’t say I’ve ever heard of a Puff before…” I ponder upon what kinda Pokemon that might be, but nearly all possible ideas I have kinda go over my head. Whatever. We get to the student center, and I open the door to let Alli in. “Looks like people are starting to mass up around here. Let’s get us some grub before it's all gone.”

I grin a little as she laughs at my reasoning. "Yeah, I guess you could say I am." After all, not like this is anywhere near the first time I've been called that. Around this time my stomach begins to growl. "Hey uh, I might go grab something to eat, care to join me?" I ask hesitantly, I still get the feeling this chick finds me pretty annoying "I mean if you aren't busy that is, its cool if you don't want to."

I let out a heavy sigh as I get off the bus. Looking around the crowd of other arriving students is pretty massive, although still nothing compared to the size of this campus. I sigh once more as I throw my duffel bag over my shoulder and make my approach to the main building.

I keep my head down a bit as I make my way through the sea of excited students. I can't help but be a little envious of them all. Under normal circumstances I imagine that being here would be one of the most exciting feelings for a student, unfortunately that isn't my case. For me this is a final chance at doing something with my life that doesn't include working a machine that presses license plates and sharing a cell with a man named "Bubba".

I finally reach my inside the building, where I can sign up for my classes and a roommate. I decide to opt for a random roommate, then after the attendant at the desk takes my belongings to my room I head to the lounge to get some food.

Phew. Done unpacking at last, even if I didn't have much on me. I had gotten my laptop set up, clothing put to the wardrobe, some books and what not on the bookcase. Being a pretty dull guy, I didn't really care for decoration or whatever. Only thing that I put on was a calendar on the wall to the side of my bed. The necessities were what mattered. I flopped down to the bed to lay on back for a little bit, and took a look at the basic rules of the school, and some additional schedule information, both of which were listed on the backside of the brochure. Alright... Pretty strict, but not too bad. No staying out past curfew (8PM), and Pokemon must stay in their balls or rooms, unless otherwise permitted when it comes to being indoors. Common sense is to be used when/if playing with Pokemon outside. Yeah, I get it. The schedule doesn't seem too tight either. Think this is manageable. Now the only qualm I have currently, is my roommate. I feel a little anxious about that part still. Really hope it's not some stuck up jock or someone who thinks they know it all.

After a moment of rest, I get up and switch into my better clothes. Next I release Haunter, who seems to be very happy to be let out. "Alright, first things first. Don't go out roaming anywhere, you must stay here. Sorry dude, not the rules I made" I notify him, and he doesn't seem too happy about that, but for a Haunter he's usually awfully obeying so it should be fine to leave him here. "Okay, be right back! I'll go grab something to eat" I exclaim as I close the door behind me. There's a lounge right here in Relic Hall, but I feel like going to see the bigger one at the Student Center.

"It's super crowded!" I shudder at the thought of getting through here. "Umm, how 'bout you get food and I'll go find a table!" I don't really wait for a response before I slip through the crowd. Eventually I pop into a much more open area. "Yeah, being small is great." I giggle to myself. Open table spotted. I climb up on a chair to see if I can spot that one guy.

"Honestly, it's going to be awful in there. There's only a handful of places for students to go. I think I'm going to hang around the garden for a bit." It's not that I was super opposed to lunch, but there's no way I'm going in there right now. And I have some food and iced tea in my bag. I want to get back to my book as well. "Guess I'll see you around. Siel, was it?" I suppose he's not terrible, although he's no Pokemon either.

"Alright that's fair, well gotta go get some food, catch ya later," I say as I start to leave, looking down and patting my Nidoran's Pokeball as I do. "Alright Nidoburitto, lets go get some food yeah?" I say as I walk away from Lillith, and head into the lounge.

Man, this lounge is pretty crowded. Then again it is still the first day, so I guess that is to be expected. I hop in line and wait to get some food.

Dammit, I figured the Lounge would be really crowded, but this is stupid. I say looking around for the start of the line for food. The upside to being almost tall is I can pretty easily see over everyone in here. I get through the food line pretty quickly compared to how long the line is, but am having a hard time finding somewhere to sit, since at this point most of the tables are occupied.

“Alright then” I respond as she goes off to look for a table. I’m left with food duty, so I can’t really complain. I grab a couple of paper plates and look at the spread in front of me. I gotta hand it to the catering or cooking staff that provided the food here, cause it all looks bomb. I grab some cold cuts, a few different looking pieces of bread, and a good amount of fruits. I lay an even amount of each on both plates, making sure Alli has enough food to keep her satisfied. I also grab a couple of water bottles and place them snugly in between my right armpit. I take a glance around to see if I can spot Alli, and sure enough, I see her standing atop a chair looking for what I assume is me, so I catch eye contact with her and walk over to the table she’s at. I set both plates and water bottles on the table gingerly before taking a seat. “Think I got a little bit of everything here, but if there’s anything else you want, don’t fight the urge to ask.” I take a bite out of some sourdough bread and a piece of salami. Man, this stuff is legit; opting to go for some grindage at this time was clutch.
