I personally enjoy them quite a lot; I've done a fair number in my time (too many to count), and it's just...the bizarre combos you can get are fun as hell. Though I have a habit of always havin some sorta starter or pseudo-legend on my team. |

My current run in Fire Red is going well. Even with randomized Pokemon at the start, one of the choices was Totadile. Since then I've picked up an Abra, Tyrogue, and Spinarak. Haven't had any deaths yet, but I had a couple mishaps with crits killing my first encounter. |

I'm gonna stream my first Nuzlocke pretty soon. Not randomised though. Pokemon Emerald, as it's my favourite Pokemon game. |

Oh lordy nuzlockes. Never played randomised; I feel it takes away from the strategic elements by leaving it more down to pure chance as opposed to cohesive plans. I'm currently tackling (in order) a series of nuzlockes through leaf green, sapphire, soul silver, pearl, white, white 2, y, alpha sapphire, moon, likely ultra moon. I'm up to SS, been keeping a record of happenings as well as copies of all the teams before every gym battle. Current rules include no in battle healing, battle style set, and level capped at gym leaders highest and champion's lowest for E4. Oddly few deaths, however; I grind with a Hilbert level of caution and plan out every gym battle to the point where I run calcs. Current SS team is Quilava, Flaffy, Fearow, Heracross, Nidorino and Vaporeon, currently leveling vaporeon (it's level 5 vs level 20's) to the rest of the team, then getting ready to take on Morty. |
