I was looking at the route difficulty scale here on the forums, and I was thinking if anyone should be added to the list. After a few minutes, I had an idea: Wouldn't it make sense if Blue had a crush on Red? In the original games, it's said that he's been red's rival since they were babies... but in the instruction manual, it says it happened somewhat recently. It could be that he developed feelings for Red, but doesn't know how to process them. So instead, he starts acting like a bully to repress his own feelings, while constantly trying to impress Red at the same time. You have to admit, he does have an unhealthy obsession with Red, and what Red thinks about him. Obviously, this is not what the original games intended, but you can sort of justify it. Possibly enough to give Blue a route in this game. But here is where the idea becomes the worst: People developing this game, do not acknowledge this suggestion. If you acknowledge this suggestion, please say it's a terrible idea, and that you won't put it in the game. I don't know about you, but I have fond memories of the original Red & Blue games, where there were rampant rumors of getting Mew under the truck, Pikablu, Yoshi, etc. If you put it in the game, it has to be a 6 star difficulty route. It should only be attainable after you become a pokemon master, and that it is only available if you avoid every other route. Never put blue on any official route lists. Even if Blue never has his own route, the real fun will be spreading the rumor that he has one. |

I initially played Fire Red, so pairing wise, I've always shipped Red/Blue/Leaf as an OT3 as far as the first games are concerned, and I will be highly disappointed if there is no gay option... or a 3-way option, but those are... hard to do, and most games don't give you the option to romance more than 1 person. But I am definitely in for a Blue rout!

It's already been stated that they are only doing female routes. |

Sadly, I know they have no intentions of it. Because as you can see from a poll of my old thread about this topic right here... viewtopic.php?f=4&t=45&p=225&hilit=LGBT#p225 The majority says NO to any kind of relationship regarding two guys. In order for this to happen you'd most likely have to have a public vote which will still probably turn out the same. Such a shame. It'd be great to end their rivalry without bad blood spilling, But people only see it as a fetish. |
