I realize this may take additional coding if you choose to do this at some point, but how about allowing the player to choose from the pokemonballs the professor has instead of going with a scripted starter. Granted I will say that the demo so far is well thought out and looks really good. For what is currently there I really had a great time playing. I can't wait to see what will happen in the future.

The problem here is that the Charmander is likely going to have some part to play in the plot, so it'd take a little more than some additional coding to rework other starters into that. In any case, you're going to have the chance to get a lot of Pokémon, including almost any that potential friends have. |
