There's always a chance that they break up (May didn't seem particularly pleased about Brendan's "I'M TERRIFIED OF COMMITMENT" line) but that's nowhere near as fun as cucking the shit out of somebody, so I hope we can. Brendan is a cool dude though. |

The wiki (which to my knowledge has only been used/updated by people working on the game) says they're dating. Also, if Leaf is the first person to introduce you to May in the Homeroom class, she immediately tells you that May is taken. |

Imagine if by stealing May from Brendan that triggered a series of events where Brendan ends up dropping out or not graduating from the Academy because of crippling depression. We're horrible people. |
