The Pokémon Academy Life Community

Two things I wanted to take the chance to discuss, starting with the Fairy-type elective class. I personally have never liked the fairy type, but that's just because I don't like change much, but still, all things considered, that class should not be filled with just girls and you. A fairy-type is a strong choice against dragon-types, which are very common in a competitive scene, so just on premise of strategy you shouldn't end up being the only male within the class, though I can understand there not being many.
Also on contests, the school puts a lot into it's battle team, but wouldn't the idea of a contest team be just as appealing to such a high grade academy? Sure contest stars aren't as popular celebrities as pokemon league champions, but they're still up there, and many people choose to have their entire journey based around doing contests. I think it would only make sense for the academy to also have a competitive contest team, alongside the battle team.

tl;dr Fairy type elective should have more males, contests should have a super selective club like the battle team.

Nah, I like the idea of Red being the only one. Students are only allowed to choose two, after all. It's perfectly believable they'd choose two others even if they're just concerned with being a competitive battler, and being teenagers maybe even being self conscious about picking a 'girly' type.
