Well, I don't think they're allowed to request money, nor can we donate.

Don't know about the VA, maybe they'll consider it.

Voice actors cost money and add more labour, which I think they're looking to avoid at the moment. I don't think it's necessary, either.

I don't think they are necessary either, also in my opinion voice acting ruins the whole experience in a visual novel, the way I see it leaving the voices to our imagination guided by facial expressions and context itself is much more immersive.

I find it to be a lot better for a VN based in your main language to either not have voice actors or the option to turn it off. Especially for someone like me who's read through every scenario I could manage to get and already have my own voices for the characters in my mind. It would kind of be a bit annoying after having a preconceived voice to have them force one voice on to a character without the ability to turn it off.
Also, they have stated time after time that they will NOT be putting a pricetag on the VN. They are not legally allowed to. If they did it would be taken down immediately and they'd be sue'd for copyright infringement, and since the creators aren't idiots, they obey to a fine point the copyright laws and do everything they can within those restrictions properly to avoid any controversy.

If I remember right, they won't be asking for money because it is a fan made game. If they make money off the game then they could get shut down by the actual pokemon company.
