I've played it through once so far with Brendan/Electric/Normal and was a bit disappointed with the apparent lack of choices compared to the previous demo, and I'm a bit worried that Red's ability to understand his Pokémon is going to make him too much of a Gary
(heh) Stu. I'd like to see it toned down a notch, or at least not made out to be super unique and amazing. And I can't help but feel really bad for Blue.
The writing is still impresssive, far more than I originally expected from a fan game like this. I can't help but smile the whole time I'm playing.
A bug I found: The game seemed to forget that I didn't nickname Blue, and got the line "It's Blue... or as I'd like to him, "Blue"" (also missing a word).
I also noticed during Roxanne's speech that there was no big "period x: class" like in the previous demo. It's a tiny thing but I think it should be put back in, makes schedule easier to understand.
I really hope this project comes to fruition, though I have doubts given the scope and Nintendo. Hopefully this demo's extension from two days to one week isn't representative of the project's overall progress!
