So, I know we're gonna have the option to do extra trainning during free time, but I wondered if there could be methods to develop our relationship with our pokémons (mainly Pikachu, Charmander and the electives)
For example, let's say you go to the baseball field when there's nothing special happenning. You could have the option to play with your pokémons there. Ex: You choose to play with Riolu, so the game will tell you that you and Riolu play at throwing a ball at each other. If you have a Venipede, it would rather tell that you are throwing the ball around while Venipede chases it to sniff it. I would see that you could do this kind of thing only with the four pokémons given to you at the beginning of the visual novel (easier to program and it would highlight the fact that they are closer to you), with each location or activity affecting the result depending of the pokemon, who could like and benefit from it or dislike it (for example, a walk in the park would probably please Pikachu very much and increase his friendship a lot, while a little race around the field with Sneasel would increase his friendship and give him a little exp. However, a pool session with Charmander might lower his friendship stat or Aron might resent you for the race that Sneasel loves so much).
So, what do you think of this?
