Given the character concept art that was recently shown on , what role (if any) would you like to see Team Rocket play during the plot of the novel?



(Thanks to Crash for bringing this up in another thread).

Team Rocket always seems to be useless and bumbling around, like punching bags for the main character. I'd like to see them actually be heartless criminals and an actual threat to society.

I said this in another topic, but they might actually take over the school. Remember, Giovanni is a gym leader too and (almost) every gym lader is getting involved into this novel, so it would make sense.

Or we might go to Kanto or Johto and have to face them?

Honestly; thinking about it, there's a lot of potential with Team Rocket. Will they be like a full-blown terrorist organization with some grand overarching plot...

Petty thieves who we fight on occasion in the city?

Perhaps even a special group within the school that is primarily of delinquents that were stuck in detention and wanted to cause chaos together?

I feel like that's a fun part of not knowing much about what's going to happen....the possibilities are still unlimited until we see what actually happens.

Another question that crosses my mind... Two actually... Are the following:

- If Rocket Grunts are going to be in the game, what about Giovanni?
- And what about the other evil teams we know? Will they make an appearance as well?

Ah, the double-edge sword of livestreaming the artwork. Sometimes things get spoiled beforehand!

Unfortunately, we won't be sharing any details at this time for what we'll be doing with Team Rocket. They will play a significant role, we'll say that much.

I know this is a crazy idea and I'm 100% sure it's not the case, but... What if Giovanni is/will be the principal of the school? We haven't seen the principal yet, so it's a possibility.
