I think I speak for a lot of people when I say GameGrumps brought me here, but I've played the demo through several times now and I think its awesome I read earlier that you're not including all pokemon (which is perfectly understandable) but how many pokemon are you planning to include available to catch? I know its early days and maybe sun and Moon will factor on this too, but i'm just wondering what your rough estimate would be at this point in development. Also, will it be possible to catch other starter pokemon, such as bulbasaur and squirtle, to add too your team? I appreciate if you can't tell us this yet (spoilers) but I think it might be a good way to appeal to those who didn't want to choose charmander. Furthermore, as a suggestion, it might be pretty cool to use pokemon you catch as a way to build relationships. For example, you could go out of your way to catch a torchic to impress May. Or perhaps somebody mentions they've always liked growlithe, so you track one down, catch it and trade it with them. I realise as i'm writing this that its probably a lot of coding (sorry about that), I just think its a nice idea I thought i'd share. As for feedback, I've been reading through other topics and most of the points I wanted to say have already been raised. The only other thing I can think of is that I thought the water elective class was a bit weak compared to others. I found the instructor a bit cringy and as Misty and Blue kinda just ignore you it's a little lonely as well. Then again, it's only the first lesson and perhaps all that changes or its part of a plot device. Just my impression. The game looks great so far and I can't wait to play more |
