| Post subject: | How to Submit a Good Bug Report |
Hi all! Bug reports are super important to us. Just like proofreading, oftentimes you can check and double check and triple check over and over again, but something might slip by you anyway. That's why it's great to have others lend a helping hand to catch errors whenever they show up. To submit a good bug report, be sure to include the following: - A screenshot of the bug if it's visual. - If it's a general mistake like a typo or inconsistency, tell us what the exact dialogue line(s) are. - A document of the error message if you ran into one. You can take a screenshot of this if you wish, but error messages can be easily copied/pasted. - If it's a crash, tell us what you did up to that point. For example, what was the last event that happened? Which character was speaking? What was the scene? Include as many details as possible here. - If it's a crash, include your operating system. Again, reports are much appreciated. Thank you! |
