First of all, allow me to thank you guys for taking you time and making an amazing game out of Pokémon! This is honestly something I’ve been looking forward to especially to the point where I keep coming back to this sight frequently to check for an update! Regarding you announcement of cutting the 3 years to 1 personally I think that a step in the right direction especially since this is something done by a small group of people! That got me thinking however, I get you can change the dialogue if you want to make it seem the Academy is only a year or, and this is just a suggestion I don’t mean to tell you what to do, but considering Red’s nature in the games you could make him want to leave after the first year while the rest of the students (Blue, Leaf, May, Ect.) stay and continue. I’m not sure the grand ending you have but you could make Red realize that this is actually what he wants to do in life but wants to find his own way of doing it ya know. In the end leaving a touching ending with the friends he made and the potential love interest he has just like in the Persona games.

Well that’s pretty much the idea I had for that please feel free to shoot it down if you don’t like it lol! Once again big fan of this project keep up the good work!

Now that I think about it, Persona 3-5 all take place over a year. There is only so much that a school dedicated to Pokemon could teach you, so it would be best to condense all of the quality into a single year rather than stretching it out to 3 years. The days within this one year could be more detailed as well.

It looks like we're getting one update a year, which I have mixed feelings about. On one hand, we get a ton of content with every update, now that the battle mechanics and time budgeting mechanics are pretty much complete. On the other hand, I'd at least like to see some more frequent informational updates detailing the team's progress.

Leaf best girl.

They reassured us that they're still working on it a couple weeks ago, so no. Not yet.

Bit of skepticism is warranted

The site came back up, didn't it? Now think on it for a moment, why would we bother doing that if the game was dead?

I know that the game is only being worked on on spare time and that Nintendo can be.... strict towards projects like these, but because you guys are making a story of its own completely different from anything gamefreak released, wouldn't Patreon be a way to go for support? I seen so many artists using characters from different animes/games and they use them on their projects and are on Patreon for a few years already (characters from the League of Legends, Heartstone, Wakfu and many others) and these people are actually doing pretty well. Fair enough, they do have more time for projects like these. But if you guys could work it out a planning system and get on Patreon, it supports content creators and what you guys have done with PAL is still content. As long as you guys don't take like a full game straight out of Nintendo (with the same storyline, places, whole plot and system) and release it, you should be on the clear.

I know there's a fine line when it comes to making content derived from a franchise but as long as you don't use Pokemon Essentials and straight out sell the same game (let's say like putting on Patreon Pokemon Emerald, it's a big no no) , you should be ok to use Patreon to get support for the content. Or as far as I know it's that when it comes to getting economic support.
