Poison is one of eighteen known Pokémon types.
Combat
Offensively, Poison-type attacks are strong against Fairy and Grass Pokémon, weak against Ghost, Ground, Poison and Rock Pokémon, and do not affect Steel Pokémon.
Defensively, Poison-type Pokémon are strong against Bug, Fairy, Fighting, Grass and Poison attacks and weak against Ground and Psychic attacks.
