Dragon is one of eighteen known Pokémon types.
Combat
Offensively, Dragon-type attacks are strong against Dragon Pokémon, weak against Steel Pokémon, and do not affect Fairy Pokémon.
Defensively, Dragon-type Pokémon are strong against Electric, Fire, Grass and Water attacks and weak against Dragon, Fairy and Ice attacks.

Clair is the instructor of the Dragon-type elective at Kobukan Academy.
Excluding Red (player character), first-year students at the start of the game with an affinity for Dragon-types include Blue and Shauna.
