Ice is one of eighteen known Pokémon types.
Combat
Offensively, Ice-type attacks are strong against Dragon, Flying, Grass and Ground Pokémon and weak against Fire, Ice, Steel and Water Pokémon.
Defensively, Ice-type Pokémon are strong against Ice attacks and weak against Fighting, Fire, Rock and Steel attacks.

Pryce is the instructor of the Ice-type elective at Kobukan Academy.
Excluding Red (player character), first-year students at the start of the game with an affinity for Ice-types include Hilbert and Misty.
