Bianca is a girl from Nuvema Town of the Unova region, just like her childhood friends Hilbert, Hilda and Cheren. She is described as "flighty" by most people who are acquainted with her, including her region's Pokémon professor, Juniper.
She shares a sister-like relationship with Hilda, despite having polar opposite personalities. The two of them are roommates at Kobukan Academy.

First glance
Bianca is quite air-headed and this is something she admits herself. She tends to maintain a cheerful attitude regardless of the situation at hand. And even when she does get upset or concerned, the emotions pass quickly, such as when she was forced to take the Bug-type elective after taking too long to register for her classes.
Bianca's glass-half-full mentality best represents her supportive nature. While many of her closest friends participate in more serious or mentally taxing activities, Bianca admits that she's not cut out for such endeavors and instead encourages her friends from behind. However, she matures significantly over time. Even if she still sits out on the same activities as her friends—or tries to—she is much more understanding and empathetic. As a result, even with her obliviousness and penchant for showing up late, it's difficult for most people to chastise her.

- Her birthday is a reference to the first time her anime counterpart debuted in the Best Wishes anime series in Japan, back in 2010.
